An advisory committee consisting of members from local organizations involved with urban ag was assembled to help develop an informative and effective networking tool, thus creating the Twin Cities Urban Ag Connection.
The TCUAC website will not attempt to supply ALL urban ag information but will rather provide a central location where those interested in urban ag can have access to information and links to urban ag groups and events in our area and in other regions.
This website is designed to be a tool built by and for those interested in urban agriculture in our region. Your thoughts/opinion and input are valuable, so please, let us know what you think, or tell us if something is missing!
Goals of this Site: - To provide a calendar of upcoming events, list of groups involved with urban ag, and access to additional information -To increase awareness among urban agriculture groups about what others are doing and facilitate networking between groups
- To raise awareness with the public about the myriad of urban agriculture activities and opportunities in our area and to attract organizations outside of the current circles
